This conceptual piece is a representation of how we remain distracted in our daily life from the suffering that global warming has and will continue to cause and how difficult our access is to the truth about this issue. While there are clear channels to understanding and seeing these issues, characterized by peepholes in the obscuring film, we settle for something easier, instantly gratifying, and more pleasant.It obscures our ability to keep our earth’s decline on the forefront of governmental policies, personal decisions, and social discourse. This ultimately reduces our ability to make impactful change in a timely manner.
