Art Attack

Art Attack was an artist-led exhibition designed to give Minnesota artists the opportunity to present their work without restriction during the annual art festival. For this event, Finch contributed an experimental installation titled Meditations, which combined two three-panel figurative drawings in paint on paper and canvas with a sculptural mannequin.

From the mannequin’s mounted light, a beam cast illumination onto the drawings, symbolically directing attention to themes of awareness and perception. The work invited viewers to consider the tension of internal struggle — how we see ourselves, how we are seen by others, and how perception shapes identity.
